• The Japanese yen was little changed at 105.40 per dollar.

Bonds

• The yield on 10-year Treasuries decreased one basis point to 0.66%.
• Germany’s 10-year yield dipped two basis points to -0.53%.
• Britain’s 10-year yield decreased two basis points to 0.201%.

Commodities

• West Texas Intermediate crude dipped 0.8% to $39.60 a barrel.
• Gold depreciated 0.5% to $1,854.78 an ounce.
• Silver depreciated 3.4% to $22.01 per ounce.
